The Southwest Desert. The name alone strikes up images of a barren wasteland with the occasional cactus and tumbleweed blowing across the vast expanse. But this is not so! There are plenty of excellent forage grasses available to even the extreme desert environment found in our Southwest Desert. Even if little water is available, our Southwest Desert Dryland pasture grass seed can handle it with ease.
This blend produces a pasture that will contain approximately:
- 35% Indian Ricegrass
- 20% Sideoats Grama
- 20% Blue Grama
- 15% Arizona Fescue
- 10% Alfalfa
In an effort to help our customers visualize the finished product, note that the percentages listed above are what you can expect the stand to contain once established. For the contents of this seed blend by weight, please contact us to request a digital copy of the seed tag.
