Semi-Arid Steppe climates are sometimes hard to define. While not dry enough to be called a desert, but not wet enough to support a forest, these climates are often characterized by extreme temperature differences in not only seasons, but day and night as well. Such extremes can make choosing a pasture grass difficult. But with our Southwest Semi-Arid Steppe Dryland pasture grass seed, the decision just got a whole lot easier.
This blend produces a pasture that will contain approximately:
- 25% Sand Bluestem
- 25% Sideoats Grama
- 25% Blue Grama
- 15% Indian Ricegrass
- 10% Alfalfa
In an effort to help our customers visualize the finished product, note that the percentages listed above are what you can expect the stand to contain once established. For the contents of this seed blend by weight, please contact us to request a digital copy of the seed tag.
